2027 election: Uzodimma vows APC will campaign for every vote to protect Tinubu’s reforms

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will intensify efforts to secure widespread support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The governor said the party would continue engaging Nigerians across the country to consolidate the gains of the administration’s economic reforms while promoting national development and shared prosperity.

Uzodimma made the remarks during a meeting of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), attended by the organisation’s directors, zonal coordinators and state coordinators.

Speaking at the meeting, the governor reaffirmed the commitment of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to advancing the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration.

“In the course of propagating the #RenewedHope agenda ahead of the 2027 Presidential Election, we will canvass for every vote, as we remain committed to sustaining the gains of the administration’s economic reforms while promoting national growth, development and shared prosperity.”

He stressed that members of the organisation have a collective responsibility to continue communicating the achievements of the current administration while promoting the ideals of the ruling party.

“I reiterated that the Renewed Hope agenda has come to stay.”

Uzodimma further stated: “I emphasized our collective responsibility to continue propagating the gains of the #RenewedHope Initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while advancing the progressive ideals, values and vision of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).”

The governor also explained that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors would remain active beyond election campaigns, describing the initiative as a long-term platform for supporting the administration’s programmes.

According to him, the decision aligns with the directive of President Tinubu, who envisaged the group as a vehicle for sustained public engagement rather than a campaign structure.

“I also made it clear that, in line with the establishing directives of Mr. President, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) will exist beyond the electioneering period, recognizing that the Renewed Hope agenda extends beyond any electoral cycle.”

Uzodimma maintained that the Renewed Hope agenda remains focused on advancing national growth, development and prosperity, expressing confidence that continued public engagement would strengthen support for the administration’s vision ahead of the 2027 general elections.
