The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced the commencement of the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for its forthcoming ward, local government, and state congresses, as well as the party’s national convention.
The Party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, interested and qualified members were encouraged to take advantage of the process to actively participate in shaping the party’s leadership structure at all levels.
The statement reads, “The African Democratic Congress (ADC) invites all interested and qualified party members to obtain Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the upcoming Ward, Local Government, State Congresses, and National Convention.”
The party described the exercise as a chance for members to play a meaningful role in strengthening its internal democracy and overall political vision. It added, “This is an opportunity to serve, contribute, and be part of building a stronger, people-centered political movement.”
According to the timetable released, the deadline for submission of completed forms is March 27, 2026, while the screening of aspirants is scheduled to hold between March 30 and 31, 2026.
ADC further informed members that nomination forms can be obtained at its National Secretariat as well as at various State Secretariats across the country. The party urged strict adherence to all requirements, stating, “We encourage all aspirants to comply with the stated guidelines and timelines.”
