Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has alerted the public to fraudulent letters circulating online, falsely claiming to offer admission into the NDA’s 77 Regular Course (RC).
In a statement released on Friday, the Academy clarified that the letters, purportedly signed by the NDA Registrar, are “not only fake but obviously the antics of fraudsters, whose sole intention is to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.”
The NDA emphasized that the official admission list for the 77 RC was published on 19 August 2025 in Daily Trust and Daily Sun newspapers, as well as on the Academy’s official website, nda.edu.ng. According to the Academy, successful candidates have already resumed, and the admission process has been fully concluded.
The Academy strongly advised the public to ignore any letters or messages claiming to offer admission. Verification of admission information can only be obtained through the Office of the Academy Registrar at academyregistrar@nda.edu.ng.
The Academy’s Public Relations Officer, Major Reuben Kovangiya, reiterated the warning, urging Nigerians to exercise caution and rely solely on official NDA communication channels.
