Chelsea have sacked head coach Liam Rosenior after just four months in charge.
His exit follows five straight defeats without a goal, a run that left the team short of confidence and piled pressure on the club’s leadership.
Rosenior, brought in to steady things and give the attack more structure, was unable to turn results around as performances continued to dip.
The club have turned to Calum McFarlane, who will take over as interim head coach for the remaining fixtures while a long-term decision is made.
