A bus branded with the City Boy Movement was involved in a road accident along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway near Ibadan on Tuesday morning.
The crash caused concern among motorists and other road users who stopped to help those inside the vehicle. Some people also assisted in clearing debris from the road to ease traffic.
Eyewitnesses said the bus was travelling along the expressway when the accident happened. However, the cause of the crash was still unclear as of the time of filing this report.
The incident led to heavy traffic as many motorists slowed down while passing the scene.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and other emergency responders were reportedly alerted to carry out rescue operations and control traffic.
Authorities had not officially confirmed whether anyone was injured in the crash. The number of passengers inside the bus and the extent of the damage were also yet to be disclosed. Investigations are expected to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
