Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to provide an explanation for the delay in uploading the remaining polling unit results from the Osun State governorship election.
The singer, who has been actively commenting on the election process, raised concerns over the pace of result uploads on INEC’s Results Viewing (IReV) portal in a post shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday night.
According to Davido, monitoring of the portal showed that no additional polling unit results were uploaded between 8:48 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., despite voting having ended several hours earlier.

Expressing concern over the delay, the award-winning artiste urged the electoral commission to either complete the upload of the outstanding results without further delay or explain the reason for the prolonged pause.
