A vibrant coalition of Nigerian diaspora professionals, The Future Platform, has commended the resilience and determination of Nigerians who continue to champion good governance, national stability, and democratic progress despite prevailing challenges.
In a statement jointly signed by the group’s Convener, Sir Austine Dafe, and Secretary, Mr. Afolabi Adeusi, the organization highlighted the courage, optimism, and perseverance demonstrated daily by citizens across the country in the face of economic, security, and social challenges.
“Nigerians continue to exhibit extraordinary strength and determination,” the statement noted. “Their resilience remains a powerful force driving the nation toward greater accountability, sustainable development, and a brighter future for all.”
The group also praised the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for his commitment to infrastructure renewal, urban modernization, and improved service delivery within the FCT.
According to The Future Platform, these initiatives reflect a strong alignment with the broader objectives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in the areas of capital development, economic growth, and efficient public service delivery.
“We applaud the FCT Minister’s energy, vision, and commitment to delivering tangible results,” the statement continued. “His support for the administration’s development agenda demonstrates the type of purposeful leadership that Nigerians at home and abroad are eager to see—leadership that prioritizes performance, progress, and national development.”
The organization also announced plans for its highly anticipated Renewed Hope Mega Rally, scheduled to take place in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, in August 2026. The event is expected to bring together members of the Nigerian diaspora, community leaders, professionals, youth groups, and stakeholders from across North America in a show of support for national development and citizen engagement.
According to the group, the rally will serve as a platform to promote unity, encourage constructive participation in Nigeria’s democratic process, and showcase the contributions of Nigerians in the diaspora toward the country’s growth and transformation.
“The Renewed Hope Mega Rally will demonstrate the continued commitment of Nigerians abroad to the progress of their homeland,” the statement added. “It will provide an opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue, celebrate achievements, and support initiatives aimed at building a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.”
The Future Platform reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Nigeria’s growth through professional expertise, strategic partnerships, investment promotion, and civic engagement. It emphasized that the country’s progress remains a shared responsibility among Nigerians both within the country and across the diaspora.
The organization further called on citizens to remain hopeful, engaged, and united in supporting initiatives that promote national development, good governance, and sustainable economic prosperity.
