Mohamed Salah has confirmed he will leave Liverpool FC at the end of the 2025/26 season, bringing an emotional close to a nine-year stay at Anfield.
“Because of you, I’ll never walk alone,” Salah said in his farewell message, a line that perfectly captures the bond he has built with supporters over the years.
In a video message, he spoke openly about what Liverpool has meant to him and his family.
More than just a club, he said, Liverpool represents passion, memories, and some of the best moments of his life.
He added that he would always be grateful for the experiences he shared on and off the pitch.
Since arriving in 2017, Salah has been at the heart of Liverpool’s rise, shaping their attacking play and consistently delivering on the big stage.
Across all competitions, he scored 255 goals in 435 appearances, ranking among the club’s top scorers of all time.
During his tenure, he helped Liverpool lift two Premier League titles, a Champions League trophy, several domestic cups, and international honours, and he also claimed the Premier League Golden Boot four times, matching the all-time record.
His departure in June 2026 marks the end of a chapter defined not only by numbers and trophies but by the mark he left on the club’s identity and the hearts of its fans.
