Malama Zara from Katakarwa Village fled her home during a Boko Haram attack, carrying her unborn child through fear and uncertainty. After losing her husband in Lagos, life became unbearable — until her hope was rekindled.
Today, through the compassionate intervention of His Excellency, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, Governor of Borno State, Malama Zara is one of the proud beneficiaries of Ruga Settlement in Mafa Town. With livestock, food, and financial support provided by the government, her life has been revived and her dignity restored.
Her story is a reflection of resilience, hope, and Governor Zulum’s steadfast commitment to rebuilding lives across Borno.
