Nigerian singer and performer Mr P has shared more details about his early life, saying he once balanced football and music before fully focusing on entertainment.
He posted a picture on his Instagram page hours ago showing his background in football. In the post, he revealed that he was offered a chance to play for Plateau United F.C but had bigger dreams of playing football in Europe.
He explained that at the time, he had to choose between pursuing a professional football career and following his passion for music.
“Somehow, destiny chose the mic instead,” he wrote.
He added: “Today, I’m an established and successful artiste/musician.
That’s nothing but grace,” concluding the message on his official Instagram page.
The singer is widely known for his solo career as well as his earlier success as part of the music duo P-Square, which gained massive popularity across Africa.
