INEC Rejects Lists Of Delegates Submitted By Oye.

Information coming in from Abuja states that INEC has rejected the delegate list submitted by the factional National Chairman of APGA, Ozo Victor Oye .

According to our source. Oye who allowed U-AYA members to collate thier names as APGA delegates for June 23 primary election for November 6 governorship election was turned back when he went to INEC to submit the list.

Our source said that they first went to INEC office Awka to suit the list but that the electoral umpire at Awka told them that since INEC did not monitor the delegate election that the commission will not accept the list. They however moved to Abuja, to submit the list and met the same resistance.

In a claim, An INEC source told AIF Media that due pressures from the governor and others, INEC told them to go back and do a proper ward congress to elect the 2 man adhoc delegates and that such exercise must be monitored by the commission.

In this same vein, INEC also told Oye that they have report of his removal and that it is a court order that can make the commission recognize him as the party’s National Chairman.

It was on that ground that he detailed Ezeokenwa Jr Sly and Barr Ifeanyi Mbaeri to approach Hon Okwudili Ezenwankwo, Ewepudike to enter a case against Jude Okeke and obtain a restraining order in his favour.

But this morning, according to AIF, we learnt that they are no longer going to use Ewepudike, Hon Dozie Nwankwo of Dunukofia-Njikoka-Anaocha Reps member has agreed to do the demage.

Onye Ndozi will now go to court to seek an order to restrain Jude Okeke from further parading himself as the National Chairman of APGA.

With the position of INEC, Oye’s faction will no longer hold primaries on June 23 in line with INEC’s guidelines that all delegates lists must be submitted to the Commission 7 days before the date of the primaries.
