Lionel Messi has done it again. The football star scored the 900th goal of his career on Wednesday night, joining only a handful of players to ever reach this mark. Cristiano Ronaldo still has more, but Messi’s total is incredible.

The goal came in Inter Miami’s 1-1 draw with Nashville SC in the CONCACAF Champions Cup Round of 16. Messi put Miami ahead early with a calm finish that had the crowd cheering.

But Nashville fought back, and Cristian Espinoza’s late equalizer knocked Miami out on away goals.

Messi’s 900 goals come from 672 for Barcelona, 32 for PSG, 81 for Inter Miami, and 115 for Argentina. That shows just how consistent he has been over more than 20 years.

Even though Miami didn’t win, Messi’s brilliance was clear.

From Barcelona to PSG and now in MLS, he keeps breaking records and leaving defenders behind. Wednesday’s goal was more than a number—it showed why Messi is still one of the best players in football.

Fans all over the world celebrated online, sharing clips, memes, and messages. At 38, Messi is still making history and producing moments of magic every time he touches the ball.
