Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on Tuesday said its Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI has eliminated terrorists and destroyed their logistics structures after a precision air strikes at Guduf in the Mandara Mountains, a known terrorist enclave.in Borno State.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame.
Commodore Ejodame indicated: “that on 27th of this month acting on credible intelligence and prior confirmatory Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), NAF air assets executed a coordinated operation that identified multiple terrorist structures and logistics hubs actively supporting insurgent activities within the area.
“Employing precision targeting and strict adherence to rules of engagement, NAF platforms engaged and eliminated hostile elements and their infrastructure with lethal accuracy, while maintaining due regard for the protection of civilians and the surrounding environment.
He added the strike resulted in the destruction of key terrorist structures and logistics hubs, significantly degrading their operational capability and reinforcing the NAF’s relentless posture in denying adversaries freedom of action and safeguarding national security.
