The National Assembly (NASS) is working to digitise parliamentary records and translate Nigerian laws into local languages.
The Executive Secretary of the National Assembly Library Trust Fund, Henry Nwawuba, made the disclosure at the opening of the 2026 National Assembly Library Week.
He adds that the move is to preserve Nigeria’s democratic records and make legislative information accessible to citizens.
Other speakers at the event maintained that digitising the Nation’s laws would enable citizens to follow their progress through the legislative process.
