Nigerian governors visit Maiduguri, sympathize with Zulum, Borno people

The Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) led by its Chairman, the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulrahman AbdulRazak are today Thursday this morning in Maiduguri city on a sympathy visit to commiserate with their members, Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, government , Shehu and people of Borno.

The Chairman of the .state governor’s forum paid a courtesy call this morning on Governor Zulum at the Council.Chamber of the Government House Maiduguri Thursday where they sympathized with the governor, government and people of the states while praying God to gibe the people the fortitude to bear the lost.

They also prayed for the repose of those that lost their lives in the flooding and pray God to restore normalcy and peace in the state.

Responding, Governor Zulum welcomed them and expressed his deepest appreciation for their visit and show of concern while praying also God to reward them abundantly for their concern and prayers

Governor Zulum however took the five state governors round the city for them to assess the situation on ground and extend of damages caused by the flood disaster .

The governors include Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and that of Yobe State, Governor Mai Mala Buni
