Nigeria’s Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, has resigned from office.
She announced her resignation on her “X account” where she expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the opportunity to serve in his administration.
She described her exit as the close of a significant chapter in her public service, affirming her continued commitment to national development.
It would be recalled that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had directed all political appointees seeking to contest in the 2027 general elections to resign by March 31, 2026, to ensure a level playing field.
