Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) Chief Executive, Mallam Rabiu Abdullahi Umar, has reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to strengthening strategic collaboration with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited to enhance operational efficiency and advance the growth of Nigeria’s petroleum industry.
Mallam Umar made this commitment during a meeting with the Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Limited, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari in Abuja yesterday.
The engagement focused on key areas of mutual interest, including gas development, capacity building, resolution of operational challenges and improved regulatory efficiency.
Both leaders emphasised the importance of sustained institutional engagement and effective collaboration in addressing industry challenges, improving performance and fostering a more efficient and business-friendly petroleum sector.
