Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has extended warm birthday wishes to former military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (retd.), as the elder statesman marked his 85th birthday on Tuesday.
In a message shared on his official X account, Obi described Babangida as a respected statesman whose contributions to Nigeria’s political history remain significant. He prayed for the former Head of State’s continued good health and long life while acknowledging his commitment to national unity.
