PDP to Inaugurate 2025 National Convention Organizing Committee September 2nd

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is gearing up for its 2025 Elective National Convention with the inauguration of its 110-member National Convention Organizing Committee (NCOC) scheduled for Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

The PDP National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, disclosed this in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja.

Hon. Ologunagba said the event will take place at 12 noon in the NEC Hall, PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja.

He said the National Working Committee (NWC), following approval from the National Executive Committee (NEC), announced the formation of the committee, which will be chaired by Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri.

While Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, will serve as Vice Chairman, while Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, will act as Secretary.

The PDP’s 2025 National Convention is set to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State, from Saturday, November 15 to Sunday, November 16, 2025. The NWC has called on all party leaders, stakeholders, and members to remain united and committed to ensuring the success of the convention.

The PDP National Publicity Secretary emphasized the importance of collective effort, stating, “The NWC charges all leaders, critical stakeholders, and teeming members of the PDP to remain united, focused, and continue to work together towards the success of the PDP 2025 Elective National Convention.”
