Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Yobe State have arrested a young man identified as Abbas for allegedly disguising as a woman in order to visit his girlfriend at her father’s residence.
Sources said Abbas reportedly dressed in female attire to avoid suspicion and gain access to the house without attracting attention. However, his actions allegedly raised concerns among residents in the area, who alerted security personnel, leading to his arrest by NSCDC operatives.
The suspect is currently in custody as investigations continue, while authorities have advised members of the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious movements within their communities.
