President Bola Tinubu has condoled with the governor of Jigawa, Malam Umar Namadi, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi.
The deceased, who died on Wednesday, had been buried according to Islamic rites in the governor’s hometown of Kafin Hausa.
The president in a statement on Thursday by his media aide, Bayo Onanuga, extolled the deceased’s community service and encouraged her family to immortalise her by continuing her philanthropic undertakings.
Tinubu urged Namadi and other family members to take solace in the enduring good name left behind by her.
