TMG NEC meeting ends successful in Port Harcourt, approves N1bn campaign support fund for President Tinubu

The National Executive Council (NEC) Meeting of the Tinubu Mega Group (TMG), which held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Monday 22nd June, 2026, has ended successfully with far reaching resolutions aimed at strengthening the organisation’s nationwide and international operations in support of national development and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The meeting brought together members of the National Executive Council, state coordinators from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, zonal leaders from the six geopolitical zones, and representatives of the organisation’s diaspora chapters in the United States, the United Kingdom, China, and Europe.

After extensive deliberations on issues of national importance and the future direction of the organisation, the Council unanimously commended the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what it described as courageous reforms and strategic initiatives aimed at repositioning the Nigerian economy, strengthening infrastructure, promoting investment, and advancing national development.

A major highlight of the meeting was the approval of a comprehensive mobilisation and support framework for the 2027 presidential campaign.
As part of its commitment to the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re election campaign in 2027, the Tinubu Mega Group (TMG) resolved to contribute the sum of N1 billion towards campaign activities and nationwide mobilisation efforts. The decision reflects the confidence of the organisation and its millions of members in the leadership and achievements of the President.

To actualize this commitment, TMG has commenced consultations and fundraising initiatives across its structures in the 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory, the six geopolitical zones, and its diaspora chapters. Contributions from members, stakeholders, supporters, and partner organisations have already begun, with overwhelming enthusiasm recorded across the country. The organisation remains confident that the target will be achieved well ahead of the commencement of the campaign season.

The Council also approved the commencement of Tinubu Town Hall Meetings across Nigeria and in major international locations including the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Asia, and Europe. The initiative is designed to engage Nigerians at home and abroad, showcase the achievements of the Renewed Hope Agenda, and deepen citizen participation in national development.

NEC members expressed appreciation to thousands of supporters and stakeholders who continue to provide support to the organisation. The Council particularly acknowledged members who have donated office accommodation to TMG in over twenty states of the federation, as well as those who have voluntarily provided personal vehicles and other logistics support for the activities of the organisation.

The Council further reiterated its appeal to patriotic Nigerians, business leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, and development partners to support the activities of TMG through financial contributions, logistics support, office infrastructure, mobility assets, and sponsorship of programmes and events.

The NEC also confirmed that the prestigious title of Grand Commander of the Tinubu Mega Group (GCTMG), the highest honour of the organisation, will be formally conferred on Dr. Azonabor Osade Eronmose on Friday, June 26, 2026.

According to the Council, the award is in recognition of Dr. Eronmose’s outstanding contributions to humanity, philanthropy and national progress.

The Tinubu Mega Group expressed confidence that the resolutions reached at the Port Harcourt meeting will further strengthen the organisation’s structures across Nigeria and the diaspora while advancing its vision of promoting national unity, continuity, and sustainable development.
