A video has emerged showing Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), calling on party members and chieftains to “fight” for political power, “snatch and run with it” because getting it is not easy.

Tinubu spoke recently to a group of APC stalwarts in London, United Kingdom (UK) whilst on an international engagement.

“Study the anthropology of it. Where are we? Political power is not going to be served in a restaurant. It is what we are doing. It is being determined to do it at all costs.

“Fight for it, grab it, snatch it, and run with it,” Tinubu said amidst applause and hail of ‘Jagaban’.

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, could be seen in the video.

Tinubu’s speech has been condemned online by critics, who express fear the former Lagos State governor may be a lawless leader in the event he becomes Nigeria’s president in 2023.
