Atiku Deserves 2027 Victory, ADC Campaign Council Tells Nigerians

Atiku Abubakar

The African Democratic Congress Presidential Campaign Council (ADC-PCC) has described former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as a true pan-Nigerian leader who deserves victory in the 2027 presidential election.

The council made the claim while receiving members of the Grassroots Mobilisation Network (GMN), led by its National Coordinator, Engr. Sadiq Abubakar Adamu Lwafu, in Abuja.

The GMN leadership said it had started a nationwide campaign to mobilise Nigerians and support Atiku’s presidential ambition ahead of the election.

Lwafu accused the President Bola Tinubu administration of worsening economic hardship, insecurity and what he described as poor democratic governance.

He said many Nigerians were struggling because of rising living costs and called for a change of leadership through the ballot box.

“The only man who can rescue Nigeria is Atiku Abubakar, and we are on a mission to ensure that the APC is thrown out of power through the ballot box next year,” Lwafu said.

He described the ADC as a platform made up of experienced politicians and Nigerians committed to national development.

Responding, ADC-PCC Director of Media and Publicity, Kola Ologbondiyan, said Atiku’s political relationships and leadership style showed that he was a leader for all Nigerians.

Ologbondiyan said Atiku had built connections across ethnic, religious and regional divides, making him a symbol of national unity.

“Atiku Abubakar, on the other hand, is a natural Nigerian devoid of ethnic, religious or sectional inclination. He is a leader for all tribes and regions,” he said.

He accused the APC of using ethnic and religious differences for political advantage instead of focusing on the welfare of Nigerians.

The ADC campaign spokesman also claimed that Atiku had a clear plan to address Nigeria’s economic challenges and improve the lives of citizens.

“Atiku Abubakar’s track record speaks for itself. Nigeria is at a crossroads and needs Atiku for the task ahead,” Ologbondiyan said.

He said an Atiku administration would introduce a transparent fuel subsidy system aimed at protecting poor Nigerians and supporting production.

The ADC-PCC assured supporters that it would continue working with grassroots groups to build support for Atiku and challenge the APC in the 2027 election.
