A public policy analyst, Chibuzor Okereke noted that the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu has been to over 15 states in the North and she dresses like them and they are excited.
Chibuzor Okereke said this while speaking in an interview on Arise TV. He said this while reacting to the allegation against Betta Edu for the controversial approval she gave for payment of about N585 million into a private account.
He said, “We have got this minister, who has demonstrated tremendous courage and commitment to the administration. The president talked about doing a monitor and evaluation retreat in this first quarter. If that happens, this minister would have been one of those people they will give standing ovation for. In just few months, She (Betta Edu) has been to over 15 states in the North down to the ordinary people. She dresses like them and they are excited in receiving here. I have observed somebody distinguish herself and a trend we are using to gain traffic online by doing a cruise on personality and crashing people’s image and trying not to allow them to do what they are supposed to do for the country.”
