FBI Hunts Nigerian Fraud Convict With ₦7m Reward The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has offered a ₦7 million ($5,000) reward for information leading to the arrest of Nigerian citizen Emuobosan Emmanuella Hall. Hall, 46, disappeared before reporting to prison to begin serving an eight-year sentence for romance fraud. She was sentenced in January 2026 after pleading guilty to taking part in a romance scam that mainly targeted elderly women. The court ordered her to report to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons on March 25, 2026, but she failed to appear. Investigators said her electronic monitoring device last showed her location at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport before the signal stopped. The FBI said Hall had told her probation officer she was travelling to Minnesota, but records showed she never boarded the flight. A federal grand jury later indicted her for failing to surrender, and an arrest warrant has been issued. Court documents said Hall and her co-defendant used a company known as Le Beau Monde LLC to receive money stolen from victims through fake online romance schemes. The FBI warned that Hall could face an additional 10-year prison sentence if she is convicted of the new charge and urged anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward for the ₦7 million reward.
