CUPP spokesperson makes new Imo PDP gov candidate’s DG

The spokesperson for the Coalition of United Political Parties CUPP and member House of Representatives, Uogochinyere Imo has emerged as the Director General of the Campaign Organisation of the Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Samuel Anyanwu, for the November 11 governorship election in Imo state.

A statement issued by Anyanwu’s principal secretary, Authur Ekwelem, which disclosed this also said that the member representing Nwangele, Nkwerre, Isu, Njaba Federal Constituency, Ugonna Ozurigbo also emerged as the Deputy Director General, representing Orlu zone senatorial district.

The statement which was issued by the Director General of the PDP’s New Media Directorate in the state, Lancelot Obiaku, said that All Progressives Congress’s time in government was up. He said that the appointments were an indication that its candidate was committed to winning the November 11 governorship poll.

Obiaku described Imo as a radical and grassroots activist who enjoys the people’s support.
