Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the last election has mourned the sad death of Prophet Michael Ojo Olowere, founder of the Christ Apostolic Church. Recall that Prophet Michael Ojo Olowere died on Wednesday at his residence in Ibadan the Oyo State capital. Reacting, Obi in a tweet on Thursday night, described the deceased man of God as a very respected minister of the gospel of Christ. He said the late prophet contributed immensely to the missionary and societal growth, stressing that the deceased had made remarkable impacts through his evangelism. He wrote, “I have just received the news of the death of Prophet Michael Olowere, a renowned evangelist and founder of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Agbara.“He was a very respected minister of the gospel at Christ Apostolic Church. He contributed greatly to missionary and societal growth.“His many decades of evangelism were very impactful in Oyo State and beyond. I commiserate with his immediate family and Christ Apostolic Church over his demise. May God grant him eternal rest and comfort all who mourn him”.
