Temi Nkem has emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11, becoming the youngest champion in the history of the reality television show.
The 21-year-old secured the grand prize of N160 million after defeating fellow finalist Aikou during the live grand finale on Sunday night.
Her victory ended the 70-day “Show Ya Sef” edition of the competition on a memorable note.
Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu presented the winner’s cheque on stage as fans celebrated the historic achievement.
With the victory, Nkem broke the previous record held by Ilebaye Odiniya, who won the BBNaija All Stars edition in 2023 at the age of 22.
From the beginning of the competition, Nkem attracted attention with her confidence, lively personality and determination to stand out among the housemates.
She survived several nominations, demanding tasks and weekly eviction scares before reaching the final and winning the public vote.
Her closest rival, Aikou, earned praise throughout the season for his calm, intelligent and disciplined approach to the game, finishing as the first runner-up.
However, Nkem’s strong connection with viewers across the country gave her the edge in the final voting.
