The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, has said the North Central is prepared to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election.

Yilwatda made the statement after leading the APC National Working Committee (NWC) to the North Central Grassroots Mobilisation Network rally held at Lafia Square, Nasarawa State.

The rally, hosted by Governor Abdullahi Sule, attracted party leaders, governors, women groups and supporters from across the region.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, governors of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and other APC stakeholders attended the event.

The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, also led women leaders from the six North Central states to the gathering.

Yilwatda praised the organisers for their commitment and described the rally as a strong show of grassroots support for President Tinubu.

“I commended the organisers for their impressive political mobilisation and commitment to securing the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in January 2027,” he said.

He added that “President Tinubu deserves a second term to consolidate the gains of his bold reforms, strengthen the economy, expand infrastructure and put Nigeria firmly on the path of sustainable development.”

The APC chairman urged party leaders, youths, women and grassroots mobilisers to take the Renewed Hope Agenda message to every ward and polling unit.

Yilwatda said the message from Lafia was clear, stressing that the North Central was ready to support Tinubu, Shettima and other APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
