Wike resumes office immediately, stops Motorcycles In FCT

The immediate past Governor of Rivers State and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Nyesom Wike has stated that the use of motorcycles as a means for public transit will be abolished in the Federal Capital city of Abuja.

Wike stated this immediately after he was sworn in by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Minister of the FCT at the presidential villa, Abuja.

Nyesom Wike who vows to resume office tomorrow as Minister of FCT, also insisted that his activities as Minister may be tough to the extent that some people will pick a fight against him. He vowed to do everything humanly possible to turn Abuja around as a Federal Capital city of the most populous nation in Africa, the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Former Governor Woke also stated that every standing Illegal structure in Abuja will be pulled down by his ministry, all in the bid to keep Abuja safe, decent, and worthy of being presented in the committee of Nation’s Capital across the world.

He stated that “We will pull them (illegal structures) down, and nothing will happen. I will step on toes”.
